TRANSITION
January 11, 2008

Dear CCAM Partners and Friends,

This morning Buntheep's blood tests showed that the inflammation in her body has decreased considerably since the last test. Therefore, her antibiotics by IV have now been discontinued, and she has graduated to oral antibiotics for the next two weeks. As a result of this, she has also been discharged from the hospital and allowed to return to the Ronald McDonald House for further recuperation. Praise the Lord for this answer to prayer. The downside is that the oral antibiotics tend to increase her nausea and keep her from being able to eat the nutritious food she needs to regain her strength. Please pray that the nausea will subside soon.

During the next two weeks, we will be meeting with the various doctors for follow-up appointments. After that, we will have a better idea about our future time schedule. Pray for wisdom as we plan our next steps. If we leave Jacksonville, Buntheep will need to return in March for a repeat of the MRI scans and a final evaluation by the neurosurgeon. We are not sure how to coordinate this with the need to return to Cambodia as soon as possible. However, we are confident that our Lord Jesus Christ will reveal His perfect plan soon and provide whatever we need to fulfill it.

In His Hands,
Gioia and Buntheep
