Dear CCAM Partners and Friends,

Thanks again for the prayers, financial donations, and practical assistance that many of you have offered for our journey back to Cambodia. Again, as usual, our Lord Jesus Christ has provided for all of our travel needs and has brought us and all our supplies back home safely!

Anticipating the potential pitfalls before us, I had prayed in advance that God would provide His special angels to assist us along the way. I found out today that Noren had also been praying for the same thing.

For sure, there were those invisible spiritual messengers sent from heaven to protect us at every turn. But God also commissioned some human "angels" to assist us at critical points. Members of Redeemer Presbyterian Church (my mom's church in Florence) sacrificed a whole day to drive us and our many pieces of luggage to Atlanta, where they helped us check in and also paid for the extra baggage fees. The airline employee checking us in (who just happened to be wearing an angel necklace) often expressed her dependence upon God as she diligently grappled with how to best handle the complexities of our luggage transaction. A fellow passenger (who makes videos about the experiences of children with critical illnesses) helped us several times with our carry-on luggage, since we had two extra pieces full of medicine on ice, and I still don't have full use of my right hand. An official at the Phnom Penh airport (who also happens to be a relative of one of our staff) facilitated the claiming of our many suitcases, trunks, and boxes, whisking us miraculously through customs.

So again, please thank and praise our God for His amazing power to provide for and protect His children!
