Dear CCAM Partners and Friends,

As we have reported in previous emails, Noren's original illnesses (sinus, bronchial, and lung infections, plus pneumonia and asthma) have gradually been completely healed. Praise the Lord!

However, now a new emergency has surfaced. A CAT scan has revealed a tumor in Noren's brain, along with indications of a stroke as well. The presence of the tumor would explain the pain and vomiting she is experiencing. Now she is often disoriented and talking "crazy," which might be partly from these conditions or from the medications. She is still extremely weak and does not have feeling in her legs and cannot walk.

The doctor says that there is nothing else that he or any other doctor in Cambodia can do. He suggested for us to MediVac Noren to Singapore or the U.S.A. However, Noren does not have any medical insurance, and we do not have the financial ability to pay for anything like that.

We remember that in 2007, through the generosity of Christians in the U.S.A., God whisked away 12-year-old CCAM student Buntheep (who also had a brain tumor) to Wolfson Children's Hospital in Jacksonville, Florida, for 8 months of surgery, radiation, and chemo, all expenses paid. Buntheep is now 16 years of age and completely healed. If God has a similar plan this time, He will touch someone somewhere to volunteer to help Noren.

Of course, the Lord Jesus may plan to heal Noren miraculously without any additional medical intervention. And we must always defer to His infinite wisdom, should He decide to take Noren to heaven now to be with Him and for her to be totally healed over there. In any case, we wait expectantly for the Lord to reveal the next step.
