Dear CCAM Partners and Friends,

Before giving an update about Noren, I need to ask emergency prayer for Sophun. He called me at 2 p.m. today (2 a.m. in Cambodia) to tell me that he was suffering from severe diarrhea and was driving himself to the clinic for treatment! I have not received any further update since then.

With Noren, Sophun, and myself absent from our posts, the remaining leaders (Reaksmey, her mother, Tikhia, and Dany, who is 8 months pregnant) will be stretched to the limit. Please pray for everyone still standing at CCAM! But pray especially for Sophun's speedy recovery, so that he will be able to shoulder his responsibility again, as he has been doing so boldly and faithfully ever since this crisis occurred.

Yesterday, Noren was moved from the clinic of the lung specialist to the clinic of the brain specialist. The new doctor has tested all of her reflexes and checked how well she followed his commands for physical movements of all parts of her body. There was response in every area, although some areas (affected by the stroke, or possibly by the tumor) are sluggish. A physical therapist has already begun a regimen of exercises to help strengthen Noren's muscles.

Now the new doctor has ordered an MRI of Noren's brain, to provide additional information about her condition that may have been missed by the previous CAT scan. However, Sophun and our older boys are the ones who need to transport Noren to the hospital for these tests, and Sophun is our only driver. Hopefully, Sophun will soon be raised up from his sickbed by the power of God.

Spiritual warfare prayers are especially needed at this time. And please pray for additional funds to help cover the mounting medical expenses, while continuing to pray that the Lord will provide healing for Noren (and for Sophun) according to His perfect will.
