This new webpage features the very first Khmer Christian children's picture book ever published in Cambodia, Miknia's Doll, written and illustrated by Lina Pao, who was trained at our CCAM School in Phnom Penh.

On our website you will see the book cover illustration with a blurb introducing the story, as well as info about ordering the book in Khmer language or making PayPal donations to help support the ongoing CCAM program of producing children's picture books. There are also links to additional pages:

Distribution Proposal (FOW)

Miknia's Doll was first published in 2007 by Fount of Wisdom (FOW) Publishing House in Phnom Penh. At that time, Lina Pao was completing her 2-year graduate internship at CCAMS. Since then, the book has been distributed for sale through local markets and bookshops.

Now FOW would like to reprint the book to provide copies for a new distribution channel---school libraries all across the country. This approach will especially reach poor school children who could never afford to purchase the book. Read the FOW distribution proposal on our website, where they explain their excellent strategy and also appeal for funding assistance. We at CCAM have agreed to partner with them to pray for and to advertise the project. This is because we strongly embrace their vision for this endeavor: "We want to get this book into the hands of children throughout Cambodia to share with them Christian family values."

Please join with us to support this new evangelistic venture, as well as CCAM's ongoing program for producing culturally appropriate Christian picture books for the children of Cambodia.
