Dear CCAM Partners and Friends,
On November 17, Kelsey will be departing again from the home of her birth in Loveland, Colorado, to return to her second home at CCAMS in Cambodia. While all of us at CCAMS will rejoice to have her back with us again, and she herself is anxious to return to her place of service here, yet she and all the members of her family and church in Loveland will be sad, even though they are also proud to release her once again to follow God’s calling. So please ask God to comfort their hearts as they part from each other.
Please pray for Kelsey’s safe trip by air, arriving in Phnom Penh on November 19, along with the seven pieces of luggage traveling with her that are filled with in-kind donations of supplies and equipment for the CCAM School. Praise God for using Kelsey as His instrument to network and fundraise for CCAM during her 4-month furlough in the States. Besides the in-kind donations of items like medical supplies, books, art supplies, laptop computers, flutes, and personal CD players (estimated value $3,700), Kelsey also generated over $11,000 to help pay CCAMS operating expenses for September, October, and November. In addition to that, she raised 100% of her own personal missionary support. We thank the Lord for His grace showered upon Kelsey, and through her, upon us too!
At every turn, God led Kelsey to just the right places at just the right times to meet many “divine appointments.” Pray that He will also cause these contacts to yield His appointed fruit in the future according to His will --- perhaps more intercessors, donors, and volunteers to become dedicated CCAMS partners.
On November 20, we will be welcoming Kelsey back by a private performance of two of our newest original dances: “Proclamation Drum Dance,” and “Song of the Bondservants.” This performance will be like an early dress rehearsal in preparation for invitations to perform during the Christmas season (similar to our Farewell performance to say thank you to Martin and Rebekah for recording the music for both songs). These two dances are sermons in music, dance, and drama that call sinners and double-minded saints to repentance and reconciliation with God and with one another. Hopefully, we will be able to video this performance! The video we made of the Farewell performance did not come out well.
Kelsey has asked us to pray for her mother, DeeAnn, who suddenly fell ill yesterday with flu-like symptoms (vomiting and headache). Pray for DeeAnn’s speedy recovery, and that Kelsey will not come down with it herself, so that her family can enjoy their last few hours together and Kelsey can complete her journey back to Cambodia in good health.
In the Holy Spirit, we are all partakers of grace with one another, so therefore we can always keep each other close in our hearts (Philippians 1:7).
