Cambodian Christian Arts Ministry | Phnom Penh | Evangelizing & Training Cambodians for Christ

Dear CCAM Partners and Friends,

In 2014, we expanded our ministry of encouragement to creative people who are seeking ways to invest their gifts in the Kingdom of God. A group called “New Creative Ventures” grew quite naturally out of the August 2014 CANA-CCAM Christian Arts Seminar held at New Jerusalem Church in Phnom Penh, Cambodia.

So far, this English language New Creative Ventures group is a local Christian arts fellowship in Phnom Penh, made up of Christian artists, arts advocates, creative people, missionaries, and church leaders who have been called by God to integrate redeemed arts and culture holistically into their lives and ministries for His glory. Through our monthly meetings, we plan to study the Word of God, pray together, share our stories, encourage one another, network our resources, and hopefully partner together in new creative ventures inspired by God.

Our first partnership venture has already produced a Bible teaching blog designed to facilitate the online sharing and discussion of the Bible lessons that Gioia teaches at the meetings. We have designed this blog to be different from other blogs, hoping that it will invite visitors to linger and reflect upon what is presented, not just dash quickly in and out, grabbing bits of superficial information. Also, our vision for the blog is that it enhance the message of the Bible lessons through rich visual artistic expressions that illustrate the meanings.
