THAILAND TRIP
July 4 - Departed Phnom Penh by air - Arrive Chiang Mai, Thailand
($319 for airfare provided!)
Gioia gave presentations at Global Consultation on Music and Missions:
- “Discipling Artists,” with Artists in Christian Testimony, Byron Spradlin
- “ Pictures that Preach” at Tea Time Talks
Gioia interacted with Allan & Joan Eubank, Christian Communication Institute
(scholarships awarded to Gioia for hotel and conference fees!)
July 10 - Departed Chiang Mai by air - Arrived Phnom Penh

U.S. TRIP
July 17 - Departed Cambodia by air (airfare provided!)
July 18 - Arrived Nashville, Tennessee (ground transport to Oak Ridge provided!)
July 19 - Shared at West Village Christian Church, Oak Ridge
July 20 - (ground transport provided back to Nashville on 20th to pick up DeeAnn arriving Nashville by air – ground transport from Nashville to Florence, Alabama provided!)
July 21-25 - Visited local family and friends (local transport provided!)
DeeAnn and Gioia worked to organize and pack supplies at storage unit
July 26 - Shared at Redeemer Presbyterian Church, Florence
July 27 - DeeAnn departed Nashville by air (ground transport to Nashville, provided!)
Jul 28-Aug 1 - Visitd local family and friends
Purchased and packed additional supplies for Cambodia (local transport, packing volunteers, and donations to purchase supplies provided! - 3 trunks packed with supplies to take back to Cambodia!)
July 29 - Shared at El Reposo Home, Florence, where Gioia’s mother is a resident
August 2 - Shared at Parkway Methodist Church, Florence
August 3-8 - Flew to Boise, Idaho to visit children and grandchildren for family reunion
(airfare provided – ground transport to Nashville airport on the 3rd provided!)
(pick-up provided for Gioia at airport in Pensacola, FL on the 8th and food-lodging in Pensacola provided!)
August 9 - Shared at Grace Community Church, Pensacola, morning and afternoon
August 12 - Photo Shoot at Grace Community Church
August 15 - Flew to St. Petersburg (airfare provided)
August 16 - Shared at Central Christian Church and at a new Khmer Church
August 18 - Flew to Nashville (host family in Brentwood and airfare provided)
August 20-22 - “Nashville Gathering of Artists in Ministry and Missions,” ACT Int.
(registration fee provided - Gioia’s hostess attended the special ACT conference with her!)
August 23 - Visited Christ Presbyterian Church, Nashville
August 24-26 - Enjoyed doing biblical research in preparation for theology class
August 27-29 - “Theology of Imagination and Artistic Expression”
Seminar taught by Byron Spradlin, President of ACT International
(seminar fee provided!)
August 30 - Shared at the Khmer Church at Belmont Heights Baptist Church, Nashville
August 31 Depart Nashville by air to return to Cambodia (airfare provided – ground transport from Brentwood to Nashville airport provided, plus transport of 3 trunks of supplies from Florence to Nashville – donations for extra baggage fees provided!)
September 2 - Arrive Cambodia! (confirmed)
