Dear CCAM Partners and Friends,

Praise the Lord that Buntheep's nose bleeds have ceased!

Dr. Andres is back in Phnom Penh, researching all of the pharmacies in town to find a vitamin K injection to help Buntheep's blood clot better. So far, he hasn't found any. Please pray that God will provide.

After giving the vitamin injection, Dr. Andres plans to test Buntheep's blood again. He will also order a 24-hour urine sediment test.

Since our last email, Buntheep has suffered through a week of stomach virus with nausea, stomach cramps, and diarrhea. During this time, she was mostly resting in bed and got limited exercise.

Now that she is beginning to be active again, her right knee is so painful that she walks with a limp. However, with the help of a knee brace, she still manages to get from place to place.

Two days ago, a large swollen reddish purple welt appeared on the top of her right foot. It hurts and itches. Doses of antihistamine have calmed the symptoms and are causing it to shrink.

Regardless of these setbacks, Buntheep keeps persevering with her studies. And even though she was absent from school for 8 months, she recently placed second in her class on a comprehensive exam for promotion to the next grade!

It is comforting to know that all of you keep standing with us in prayer for Buntheep's complete healing.

In His Hands,
Gioia and Buntheep
